Best Master’s Thesis and Best Doctoral Thesis Competition

The only valid method for submitting theses is to send them to the email address specified on the congress website (nororehabilitasyon@gedik.edu.tr).

Application Conditions for the Best Thesis Competition

  • The thesis must have been published within the last five years.
  • It must have a YÖKTEZ Thesis Number.
  • The thesis must be related to the fields of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation, and relevant departments (such as Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Sports Physiotherapy, etc.).
  • When applying for the thesis competition, the subject line of the email must include “Master’s Thesis Competition” or “Doctoral Thesis Competition“. Applications sent without these phrases will not be considered.
  • Applicants must be graduates of the ‘Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation’ undergraduate program.
  • Thesis applications must be submitted with the Turkish and English abstracts of the theses uploaded to YÖKTEZ. Abstracts in both languages must be carefully prepared in terms of grammar, clarity, and spelling rules. If suggested corrections are not made, the related thesis will not be accepted.
  • The abstract must include the sections: Purpose, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
  • The submission email must include the responsible author’s full name and email address, which will be used for necessary notifications, including acceptance notifications.
  • For accepted theses to be presented at the congress, the author must have registered for the congress.
  • The acceptance of the submitted theses will be decided by the Scientific Committee based on a blind peer review process. The acceptance status of the thesis abstracts will be communicated to the responsible author via email.
  • The accepted theses will be presented by the applicant in the ‘Best Thesis’ session at the congress, where they will be voted on by evaluators and participants. The winners of the competition will be determined based on the votes of the evaluators and participants and will be announced at the end of the relevant session.
